Our 200AH deep-cycle lithium batteries consist of two banks of four high quality aluminium-encased prismatic cells, each with a nominal voltage of 3.2v. The cells in each bank are connected in series, and the two banks are connected in parallel. Whilst more expensive to manufacture, prismatic cells are much more stable and shock-resistant than cheaper options which simply consist of banks of cylindrical cells wired together.
These batteries use an advanced battery management system (BMS) to ensure an even energy balance between cells and allow the batteries to be connected in parallel or series (up to 4). The BMS contains an intelligent protection circuit module (PCM) which protects against overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit and over-temperature.
Our battery cells are protected by custom-molded EVA rubber cushioning. This cushioning offers protection against knocks and drops, and ensures better stability and longevity when the batteries are used in high-shock and high-vibration environments such as marine and vehicle applications.
The Hard Korr® Difference
Don’t be fooled – deep cycle batteries might look similar on the outside, but the key differences between low-quality and high-quality batteries can be found on the inside.
Our batteries are constructed from superior grade components, including the cells, battery management system and even the wiring. Not only does this mean your battery will last longer and provide much greater reliability, but it also provides two other significant advantages:
- Our maximum discharge rate is 200Ah for 30 minutes and 400Ah for 3 seconds (pulse). This is significantly higher than most others, and is especially important if you plan to use this battery in conjunction with an inverter.
- You can connect up to four of these batteries in parallel or up to four in series. This means you can create up to a 800Ah 12V setup, or a 200Ah 48V setup!
NEW LCD Digital Display
All of our deep cycle lithium batteries now come with a handy LCD digital display on the top of the unit.
This display allows you to easily view your battery’s voltage at any point in time. The screen is backlit, so you can read its output regardless of whether it is day or night.
