Our 6 bar LED camping light kit is designed for family-size camper trailers or large campsites. With 3,000 lumens total light output (on white setting) and over 32m of high quality plug-and-play cabling, this kit gives you ultimate flexibility to light up every part of your setup.
Often imitated, but never duplicated.
The LED camp lights that Hard Korr Lighting invented are now seen across thousands of Australian campsites. In the years since we introduced them to the market, we’ve developed and released many innovations and improvements designed to make your camping experience comfortable and hassle-free, including orange/white technology, reinforced grommet ends, inbuilt magnets, removable pole clips and more.
We’ve now taken the next leap forward in design and technology, making lighting your campsite even easier by addressing some of the key gripes campers had with previous LED lighting technology. Our exclusive diffusers, now included with all light bars, create a much wider, more pleasant light beam – no more LEDs shining in your eyes if you’re on the wrong angle! The light bar pole clips and dimmer pole clips make attachment to non-magnetic tent poles much easier.
Additionally, flush mounting is now easier and looks better thanks to our wire-covering end caps and flush mount clips (flush mount clips sold separately).
And if all that wasn’t enough… our new dimmers give these kits the ability to now produce three shades of light: cool white, warm white and orange! The new warm white setting gives off a light that is nearly as bright as cool white, but with a pleasant soothing warmth.

Unsealed 4×4 Mag Test & Review
This review is from prior to the introduction of our Tri-Colour Dimmers in August 2020, but other than that the kits are unchanged. The model they tested was the 4-bar kit.
In general, campsite lighting can be a bit of a pain, sure, you can use a ‘work light’, if you enjoy burnt retinas and lots of shadow. Or you could use an LED lantern, or even a trusty head torch. Don’t get me wrong, all of these lighting options have their place, but I wanted something more. Something permanent, but at the same time something that could be moved around if needed. If that makes sense – probably not…let me explain.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I mix and match white and orange/white LED lights?
Yes, with some caveats. Our white LED camp light bars use 2-pin DC connectors (black end caps), as do the 12v plugs and transformers. Orange/white light bars use 4-pin DC connectors (orange end caps). Orange/white dimmers have a 2-pin DC input plug and a 4-pin DC output plug, and provide the interface between white and orange/white light bars. This means that if you are mixing white and orange/white light bars, they will need to be controlled by separate dimmers. Our recommendation is to use a splitter cable straight after the cig lead or transformer, and run the white lights off one branch and the orange lights off the other.
How many LED camping lights can I connect in series?
Each setup is different, and there are a couple of factors to consider. First, consider the power source. If you are running Our dimmers are rated to 5A each. For safety we recommend connecting no more than seven (7) 48cm light bars in series.
How do I power my LED camping lights?
You can power your LED camping lights using your vehicle battery with a 12v (cigarette) plug, or via mains power using our 36w or 60w transformer.
How can I mount the LED camping light bars?
Our camp light bars can be mounted in several different ways. Each bar has an inbuilt magnet at either end, for easy attachment to magnetic surfaces. You can also use our removable pole clips (standard in all camp kits except Hardkorr Lifestyle) to affix the bars to aluminium tent or awning poles. Finally, if you want to permanently fix your bars in place, you can use our flush mount clips (sold separately).
What are orange LED lights used for?
There is a well-founded scientific basis for using orange light to reduce insect activity around your camp lighting and campsite, which centres on the fact that humans and insects see differently.
The diagram below shows the difference between the parts of the visible light spectrum which are visible to humans compared to most insects. Most insects can see light in the ultraviolet spectrum, which is invisible to humans, but are unable to perceive wavelengths above 600nm. Our orange lights, which emit a 615nm beam, are thus invisible to most insects and as a result they will not be attracted to it.
I have an orange and white camp light bar. How do I switch between colours?
If you have a rotary dimmer (circular dial), simply press on the dial to switch between orange and white light. If you have a tri-colour dimmer (buttons), you simply press the mode (M) button.

Awesome bit of kit, really sturdy and the case it came in is great. Have been using it for a while now and the three settings and dimming options are awesome. A lot better quality than your typical supercentre/bcf etc lighting strips.

I waited until I had done a few trips before I left this review so I could give the best feedback I could.
These are excellent lights and the Orange lighting keeps the bugs away every time I have used them. I did leave the white lights on one night out of curiosity and low and behold we have the bugs swarming in no time.
I use these in conjunction with the Hard Korr battery box and I like the simple plug and play method behind it all.
Super easy to set up, I went and bought the Velcro tape and cut strips off to hold the lights to my gazebo structure.
With plenty of cabling to boot it’s easy to make a large setup also.
I have also had them set up in some rather heavy rainfall and had no issues with water damage.
We also came back one day to find the Gazebo slightly collapsed from water pooling and the Y-Junction piece was under quite a strain from the collapse but it doesn’t seem to have broken the piece so the construction of the pieces seems to be quite solid.
I really like the Hard Case they come with as well to protect them all, although there is a fine art to getting it all back in so a slightly larger box wouldn’t go amiss.

Awesome lights that perform as promised! Very pleased with the various lighting options and setting up is a breeze with very user friendly connectors and brackets/magnets.

Great lights that I have added to my Patriot Camper to complement other Hardkorr lights. I prefer the old style controller with a simple wheel dimmer and push button on/off.

Awesome set of lights at a great price. Hardest thing was trying to get them all back into the carry case again lol overall very happy

Installed permanently in the Cub camper trailer main tent and then we put up a couple of bars in the awning on set up. Have the inside and outside on separate dimmers which is great. Only had them for a couple of months but so far so good. They work well. The orange light is good for putting the kids to sleep. Warm white would be a great option if its possible to add a third setting. Magnet on dimmer is a good idea however the magnet could be slightly stronger. Overall, really happy with the purchase.

Outstanding camp lights, in a nicely sized case. Yellow bars are perfect to limit bugs around the campsite. Bought a motion sensor extra to this kit, but am yet to try it out. Now looking for a floodlight to light up outside the camp at night

Great lights, quick delivery. Would be better if the kit comes with alligator clips.
